Scarification

So that's a thing. I sketched a symbol about four years ago and wanted it in my skin ever since. However, a tattoo didn't seem...fitting...enough. It was by complete chance that I met a highly skilled body modification artist when my little sister and I went into a local shop to get her jewelry switched out. We both ended up getting pierced and I noticed a container of sugar with his supplies. Having no shame, I inquired and learned of his work.

Needless to say, within a couple of weeks my back was sliced and peeled. It took about six hours. Healing is far more involved than a tattoo, but worth it. So that ate up some time. That and a bunch of shoots. Yay! No sleep again.
